Caring for Orphans

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27

Don Moen Living SoundToday, there are approximately 153 million orphans worldwide.  Of those 153 million orphaned children, UNICEF claims more than eight million live in institutionalized care. These statistics do not include the totality of abandoned children, ones absorbed into the human trafficking industry, or even the nameless, unregistered children who dwell on the streets of major cities world-wide.  The number of orphaned children–ones unprotected and uncared for–in the world today is staggering and demands our advocacy.

Worship In Action is blessed to partner with Royal Seed Home in Ofaakor, Ghana. Royal Seed is a loving family, home and school to more than 190 orphaned and impoverished children. WIA partners with Royal Seed on a monthly basis to provide nutritious food and safe water for the children. Please consider DONATING to this worthy cause.
